BLOOD TESTS UPDATE 26/06
Posted or Updated on 26 Jun 2024
Due to the Synnovis Laboratory cyber-attack, our patients can only have URGENT blood tests requested by a Clinician.
If you have a test form that is marked as ROUTINE in the urgency field, then you will not be able to have a test completed until the routine blood test service is back up and running. There is no indication of when this will be, but it is likely to be measured in months rather than days or weeks.
Patients, registered with a Bexley GP, with forms marked as URGENT by a clinician, can have their urgent test carried out at the following walk-in sites from Monday-Friday.
Queen Elizabeth Hospital, London SE18 (8am to 6pm)
Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup (8am to 6pm)
Erith and District Hospital (8am to 2pm)
