Problems with non-emergency patient transport services

 

On the evening of 27 August, SVL Healthcare Services Ltd, who provide non-emergency patient transport services in south east London, announced that they would be unable to provide these services going forward, effective from midnight 28 August.

 

SVL provide services to King’s, GSTT, as well as in Bromley and Bexley.

 

The Trusts are doing their very best to put alternative arrangements in place, but we should expect severe delays and disruption to non-emergency patient transport services, for both inpatient and outpatients across all sites, and inter-hospital transfers, over the coming days.
